It all kicks off from 2pm! With two stages (Hermitage/Masons) and the following films projected at the Memorial Hall (free entry during the day sessions)

Christmas on Mars (Ultra lo-fi tribute film to works of Kubrick, Can and 2001: Space Odyssey featuring Wayne Coyne as a green alien and the Flaming Lips)

The Story of Anvil (Hailed as 'The real Spinal Tap', these boys share their tales of woe at not being as big as the bands they influenced in this true life documentary, pure METAL)

The Devil and Daniel Johnston (Documentary about the mentally troubled singer songwriter who's influenced so many contemporary acts)

How oh how can you get to Warkworth and back? My oh my, we've thought about that for you!

Last year we had a lovely traditional bus to take you from Central Station in Newcastle which departs at 1pm and then we have it return to take your drunken head on the way back to Newcastle once the gig has finished at approx 11pm!

The bus AND a festival ticket will be £7, simply pay the driver as you get on the bus and receive a hand stamp and possibly a golden ticket (we're still thinking on that) the cost is applicable to ANYONE who gets the bus. It's cheaper than a taxi and more handy then prising away one of your car-owning mates from their families teat, honest!

If you are travelling via car, tickets are on the doors of the Memorial Hall priced at £4, bear in mind this is all going to charity, it's justified and cheap at that! If you're travelling from Newcastle or the South, simply go up the A1 as if you were going to Edinburgh and look for signs to Warkworth Castle. If you're travelling from Scotland, get on the A1 South signposted Newcastle.

To everyone else, check out the bands, invite your friends, get excited. We will be selling PRE-SALE tickets from Friday 10th December (for bus and for the festival or just festival tickets) at RPM, Beatdown and Alt Vinyl. Stay tuned to here and our Myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/outofthetrees
