Free gigs, a big un and a tease

Hello! Got a few things coming up to tell you about. Apologies to anyone outside of Sheffield* as they are all within walking distance of my house:

Sunday 29 September 2:40pm – The Peace Gardens – free
This is part of Sensoria Festival and also a celebration of the Great Yorkshire Run.

Sunday 6 October – The Rutland Arms – unplugged show
I’m supporting the super lovely Pete Green as he launches his first solo album.
This one is also free, but there’ll be a voluntary whip-round

Saturday 9 November – Women of Steel, The Concert – Sheffield City Hall
This is a big one. The line up includes Tony Christie, Heaven 17, Martin Fry (ABC) and even the brilliant John Shuttleworth, who I appear to be goosing in this poster. It’s a fundraiser for the Women of Steel statue; a tribute to the women who worked in the steelworks during the wars.

I’ll also be announcing a special headline show soon, but you’re not ready for that yet.

*I haven’t gigged out of town nearly as much as I would have liked to this year and I’ll work on that for 2014. Get in touch if you want me to play in your town – make your demands below or facebook/tweet/email me.
